Agata is a Berlin based architect specialized in computational design, digital fabrication and experimental material research. In her architectural and design practice she explores the creative processes on the verge of the digital and the physical and her work oscillates between these two worlds.
Agata graduated from the Warsaw School of Architecture, IaaC Barcelona and TU Delft – department hyperBODY. She worked for several years as lead architect and researcher at HENN in Berlin where she participated in research programs such as DRX_Design Research Exchange and Programming.
She taught parametric design and lectured at various universities such as TU Delft, Architectural Assosiation VS, Warsaw School of Architecture, Fachhochschule Düsseldorf, Fab Lab Berlin, TU Berlin CHORA: Conscious City, IaaC Barcelona and IED Madrid.
Currently she teaches digital design tools and fabrication methodologies at the Weißensee Art Academy Berlin, department Textile- and Surface Design. Since June 2017 she’s also a doctorate researcher at the TU Berlin, Faculty of Architecture, where she investigates material-informed design strategies through 3D printing on textiles. (PEP)
Since January 2020 she is an Associate Researcher in the project “Bauhaus 4.0” at the Weißensee Art Academy Berlin which focuses on robotic fabrication and digital teaching formats.
