Agata is an architectural designer exploring creative processes on the verge of the digital and the physical. As computational designer, inspired by aesthetics and complexity of automation as well as the tactile qualities of the material, her work oscillates between these two worlds.
Agata graduated from the Warsaw School of Architecture, IaaC Barcelona and TU Delft – department hyperBODY. She worked for several years as lead architect and researcher at HENN in Berlin where she participated in research programs such as DRX_Design Research Exchange and Programming.
She taught parametric design and lectured at various universities such as TU Delft, Architectural Assosiation VS, Warsaw School of Architecture, Fachhochschule Düsseldorf, Fab Lab Berlin, TU Berlin and IaaC Barcelona.
Currently she teaches digital design tools and fabrication methodologies at the Weißensee Art Academy Berlin, department Textile- and Surface Design. Since June 2017 she’s a PhD researcher at the TU Berlin, Faculty of Architecture, where she investiges architectural applications of knitted structures.
