On the 16th of March 2019 an exhibition on “Potentials of technical, intelligent textiles + smart materials” opened in the Wasserschloss Klaffenbach in Chemnitz, where a prototype from the Seminar “Self-Shaping Textiles” at the Weissensee Kunsthochschule Berlin is exhibited. The prototype of a 3D printed textile canopy was manufactured at FabLab Berlin in collaboration with the research cluster “Textile prototyping Lab”.
